Connect Instagram
Connect an Instagram Business or Creator account with official Instagram Login and the four permissions Send Link To Me needs.
Use official Instagram Login with a Business or Creator account. Approve profile, comments, messages, and publish so automations can run. Personal profiles cannot finish Login.
Each Instagram identity can link to one Send Link To Me login: the website or Shopify, not both.
Before you connect
First connect
When you have no Instagram yet, Home says You're in. Connect Instagram to unlock it. The lead is Connect your Instagram Business or Creator account once.
What you unlock on that screen: Comments to DM, Story reply automation, Live comment DMs, DM templates and flows, Post and schedule.
If the session expires you see Connect session expired. Try connecting Instagram again. Start over from Connect Instagram.
If this Instagram is already on another login, you see: This Instagram account is already connected to Send Link To Me. Each Instagram can only be linked to one login, on the website or in Shopify. Sign in to that login to use it, or disconnect it there first.
If you are already at the account slot for your plan, the button reads Account limit reached. Pause or disconnect another account, or upgrade.
Why those permissions

Skip publish and you can still run keyword DMs on existing media. You cannot post or schedule from Send Link To Me until you reconnect and grant it. See Schedule posts.
After Login
Your access token is encrypted. The account status is Connected. Active and Needs reconnect both use a plan slot.
Next: Your first automation. To add another Instagram, pause one, or leave: Manage Instagram.
Disconnecting Instagram does not cancel your Send Link To Me plan. Cancel from Billing.
Troubleshooting
- Wrong account on reconnect. Meta authorized a different Instagram account than the one you are reconnecting. Pick the same @username in Instagram and try again.
- Account not found. That Instagram account was not found on this login.
- Needs reconnect after a password or security change. See Manage Instagram. Automations pause until you reconnect.
- Denied or failed Login. Try Connect Instagram again, and approve all four permissions.
