Is the Shopify app the same as the website?
They run the same automations but bill separately. The website is built for creators and bills through Razorpay. The Shopify app bills through Shopify and adds live catalog cards, unique discount codes and collection browse. Pick the one that matches how you sell.
What do Shopify plans cost?
Free is $0, Growth is $15 a month and Pro is $49 a month, billed by Shopify. Website plans are separate and listed on the pricing page.
Is the first DM the product carousel?
Not by default. The first DM asks first, with a Yes, send it over button. A follow ask and a lead question can come next if you turn them on, then the product cards. You can turn this welcome message off for an automation, so the first DM is the follow ask, your first question or the cards. It stays on when you send a code with no lead question.
Which plan lets shoppers browse collections in the DM?
Pro. On Pro a card button can open the next carousel, up to three screens deep. On Free and Growth, card buttons open a page on your store.
Do I need to change my theme?
No. The app runs inside Shopify Admin and talks to Instagram through Meta's official API. Nothing is added to your storefront.
Does the Shopify app have AI help?
Yes, on every Shopify plan. Write drafts your offer and welcome messages from a short note, and Rewrite gives versions in four styles that keep every price, code and link exactly as you wrote them. Nothing is saved or sent until you pick a version. AI checks, like the spam check, start off and only watch until you turn one on.
What does first in the Shopify ecosystem mean?
We mean browsing a catalog inside an Instagram DM: shoppers tap through product and collection cards without leaving the chat. We are not claiming to be the only comment-to-DM app.
When can I install the Shopify app?
It's coming soon on the Shopify App Store. If you sell on your own site, you can start free on the website today.
How do I cancel Shopify billing after launch?
Once the app is live, cancel billing or uninstall in Shopify Admin. Disconnecting Instagram does not cancel a Shopify plan.
